La Verne:  Played in 21 games as a freshman, averaging 6.7 points and 2.3 rebounds per contest... her 32 three-point field goals was third-highest on the Leopard squad... led the team in scoring in two games

High School:  Tapia was a standout player at St. Paul High School were she lettered in each of her four seasons.  As a shooting guard, Tapia was a two-time All Del Rio League selection in 2008-09 and 2009-10.

Personal:  Born April 22, 1993, Tapia is an Athletic Training major... parents are John and Carol Tapia
